Antonio Hervas Amezcua, born in Jaen in 1951, lives in Gava (Barcelona) since 1966.

Antonio Hervas Amezcua, born in Jaen in 1951, lives in Gava (Barcelona) since 1966.  Murals Graduate School Precedures Applied Arts Llotja of Barcelona in 1980.  Professor of Drawing. Studies recorded in the studio of the Faculty of Fine Arts Sant Jordi. First exhibition in 1972 in Spain. Numerous exhibitions in USA, Iceland, Brazil, Findland, Israel, Germany. In 1989 exhibited in the gallery Ashkenazy.  Invited by owner to reside in California. In 1990, the Israel-Latin American Cultural Institute Jerusalem invited Antonio to make a presentation at the House of  Artists of Jerusalem. From 1993 to 1995 he traveled to Iceland residing in the House of Artists submitting paintings in Portid Hafnarfirdi Gallery and Galleries in Reykjavik sponsored by the consul of Spain in Iceland. In 1977 invited by the Cervantes Institute in the city of Sao Paulo Brazil where he performed various activities: conferences, exhibitions and courses. 1999 commissioned by the European Archaeological Park Bliesbruck-Reinheim for Celtic exhibition “In the mirror of the Princess” (Germany).  In Spain he exhibite extensively individually and collectively, especially in Catalonia where his paintings have been exhibited continuously: in Sitges, Barcelona, Girona, Vilamouira, Sabadell, Castelldefels.  His paintings can be found at the Museum of Albacete, Zabaleta Museum (Quesada, Jaen), Museu de Poreres (Palma de Mallorca), National Bank of Iceland (Reykjavik), Instituto Cervantes (San Paulo Brazil), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Israel (Jerusalem), Museum of Akureyri (Iceland), and FC Barcelona Museum. In addition to the museum and gallery spaces his paintings are on the Placa Francesc Macia Gava (Barcelona), which is a mural mosaic sculptures in bronze; Santa Ana (Albacete), where he made a fountain sculpture in bronze; and Terrassa (Barcelona), whose Rambla Modolell is the bronze sculpture “Homage to the Pagesia”
