Deborah Jones

by on November 24, 2014

Deborah Jones, deceased British Artist (1921 – 2012).

Deborah Jones was a British artist born in 1921.  In her earlier years she took an interest in the fashion drawings at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London, but she soon developed her own unique style.  Her lifelong preoccupation had been the delightful oil paintings of dolls and teddy bears, and the quirky backstreet antique shops with their endearing names.  Deborah Jones became a very successful artist in the UK as well as in the USA. Her paintings are immediately recognizable and sought after in all age groups and backgrounds. Paintings by Deborah Jones have been on permanent exhibition at Arnot Gallery for many years. Deborah died in 2012 in her native England.
