Frederic Lloveras Herrera, deceased Impressionist Catalan artist from Spain (Barcelona , 1912 – Tossa de Mar, 1983).
Frederic Lloveras Herrera (Barcelona , 1912 – Tossa de Mar , 1983) was a Catalan artist. He studied at the Artistic Circle of St. Luke and the School of Fine Arts of Sant Jordi. Lloveras studied and painted mainly in oil painting, but added drawing and watercolor after the Civil War of Spain. He participated in the National Exhibitions of Fine Arts in 1942,1944 and 1948. In 1971 he had a solo exhibition at the Sala Gaspar Gallery in Barcelona. He was friends with other noted artists including Griera, Joseph Cruañas , Josep Granyer and Emilio Grau Sala , among many other contemporary painters.
