H. Kerber, nom de plume for Austrian artist H. Richter was born in Vienna Austria in 1920. Richter became a teacher when he graduated from University and went to the Musischpadagogischen Institute.  Richter decided to attend the Wiener Akademie der Bildenden Kunste from 1945 through 1948 receiving his diploma in Akademischen Malers (Academic Art).  It was after this that Richter  decided that he no longer wanted to teach but instead to paint.  Richter pursued a career as a free lance artist.  The paintings he signed with the nom de plume, H. Kerber, were of the typical Austrian people in Tyrolean garb and also of the monks who were in charge of many of the Austrian Wine Cellars at the time.

Paintings above were all painted by H. Richter and will be accompanied with a Certificate of Authenticity.
