Henri Laville was born in Bordeaux, France in 1916. Parallel to high school, he entered the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux. Laville was also a graduate of the Academy of Sciences, Letters and Arts of Bordeaux.
Henri Laville is a Knight of the National Order of Academic Palms; Winner of the Academy of Fine Arts; Member of the Academy of History; Honorary citizen of the town of Old Montmartre.
Grand Prize for painting of the city of Bordeaux, he was sent on a scholarship to pursue his studies at the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
Gist of the Prix de Rome and appointed resident at the CASA VELASQUEZ Madrid (resident of the State), he won the Casa Velasquez Award.
The Grand Vermeil Medal of the City of Paris to be distributed.
