Luigi Grassia was born in Italy in 1946.

Luigi Grassia was born in Italy in 1946.  Grassia attended the Art Institute of Avellino.  Upon graduation from the Art Institute he became a Professor of Design and Art History. In 1978-1979 Grassia attended the International School of Graphic Art in Venice under Professor Riccardo Licata, who was also a Professor at the Fine Art Academy of Paris.  Under the tutelage of Professor Licata, Grassia  studied etching and engraving. From 1970 to date Luigi Grassia has held numerous personal and collective exhibitions.
