Scott Duncan graduated, B.F.A. Pratt institute in Brooklyn, New York in 1967.
Duncan spent two years as an illustrator for the u.S. Army exhibit unit in alexandria, virginia.
Duncan’s work has been published in Readers’ Digest, Good Housekeeping, Family Circle, Columbia, Grosset And Dunlap, as well as other literary works. The time magazine has purchased four portraits as possible cover illustrations.
Duncan’s works are in the permanent collections of the Pentagon in Washington D.C.; Cornell Museum, Iowa; Morrow Memorial Church and in personal collections such as those of George W. Bush, the actress Helen Hayes and the pianist Liberace.
