Dario Caselli, surrealistic style artist from Northern Italy.
Dario Caselli, best known as a Bass Opera Singer who first sang at La Scala, in Milan Italy, in 1948 in Prokofiev’s ‘Love for Three Oranges’. He later appeared in Aida, Fidelio and La forza del destino. His entire career was entirely based in Italy with most of his career in the 1950’s. In addition to being an opera singer, Dario Caselli was a painter. Best known for his surrealistic style paintings done in the style of Proferio Grossi, who was best known for his surrealistic paintings of the Italian ‘Nature Morte’.
